In addition to our biomass boiler we had a vision to further meet our substantial energy needs through clean, renewable power. This has now become a reality.
Between Eirebloc and our partners GP Wood Enniskeane and GP Wood Lissarda we have installed 3.05 MWh energy-saving solar panels. This is an exciting addition to our net zero journey and will help combat climate change and meet Ireland’s 2030 carbon emission reduction goals. Our suppliers estimate that it will offset 826,332 kg of CO₂ annually.
